i came up with a story and i’m really infatuated with it. i’ve never thought a story all the way though to the end. it’s about a thracian gypsy child that steals a bengal tiger being traded through the East India Trade Company and they go on a journey north….

I’ve always had very few interests in common with the people I hang out with (in terms of fandoms or just ways of spending free time in general), but they’re still the only people I ever enjoy being around. I feel there’s a really innate connection between us that has more to do with emotions and personality than activity- or interest-based connections.

there’s a horrible part of me that wishes my art got more feedback (on tumblr or otherwise) and every now and then i concede to saying “I have no friends on the internet,” which is untrue and unfair to the people who do regularly give me responses and support. those people may be few, sure, but i’m extremely grateful for them. you guys know who you are!

i never talk about my life on tumblr because i feel like no one cares, but i keep wishing i had made this place a little more personal. my art on its own is pretty boring, so. i got another eye surgery about three weeks ago. the first one (if you remember back to last november) didn’t work. i sure hope this one fixes it, because i’d really like to learn how to drive soon.
